Le véritable challenge du défi sportifest dans le VIVRE ENSEMBLE
The Odyssey for the Climate challenge can only be understood if it is implemented in its sporting part by people of three generations. On board the Grandpa Rowers (generation of over 60 years old) have invited their children (generation of 35-60 years old), and their grandchildren (from 18 to 35 years old). These three generations, in addition to their gender mix, will have to work together for the success of the challenge.
What one imagined life on board to be when on land, the possible different cultures amongst crew members, will be confronted to reality at sea. A team spirit towards the common goal will be most essential. Each person has his or her place in this adventure. His/ her temperament, personal ideas, legitimate feelings, desires to live this epic journey, ways of being, everything that makes one up as a human being must be accepted by others just as he/she must accept the other. ACCEPTING THE OTHER will be the guiding principle for the crew to live together harmoniously during the challenging months.
